The Song Academy offers advanced students and young professional singers and pianists the opportunity to deal intensely with art song. The one-week course opens the only chance to work with many renowned lied interpreters practically and artistically in one place. The teachers each offer different yet complementary composer and topic focuses. Thereby, the participating lied duos have the possibility to competently work on a wide range of the international song repertoire and to experience different perspectives and approaches to lively interpretations and performances.

The Liedakademie will take place for the 13th time with six acclaimed artists and teachers from European universities of music, continuing in the successful tradition of the past years. The concept of the Academy is to give advanced students, young singers and pianists, the opportunity to work intensively with many instructors at one location. The instructors are offering a wide spread of topics which will enable the participants to choose from a large international repertoire, to explore various points of view and approaches in the interpretation of Art Song.

Die Liedakademie bietet fortgeschrittenen Studierenden und jungen professionellen Sängerinnen und Sängern sowie Pianistinnen und Pianisten die Möglichkeit, sich intensiv mit dem Kunstlied auseinanderzusetzen. Der einwöchige Kurs eröffnet die einmalige Chance, an einem Ort mit mehreren renommierten Liedinterpreten gleichzeitig praktisch-künstlerisch zu arbeiten. Die Lehrenden bieten jeweils verschiedene, einander ergänzende Komponisten- und Themen-Schwerpunkte an. Damit haben die teilnehmenden Lied-Duos die Möglichkeit, eine große Bandbreite des internationalen Lied-Repertoires fachkundig zu erarbeiten und dabei unterschiedliche Sichtweisen und Ansätze zu lebendigen Interpretationen und Aufführungen zu erfahren.
