One of the main tasks of the Recording Studio is high-quality digital recordings as production or concert recordings with all the associated processing and mastering options. With the Konzertsaal, an acoustically excellent recording space is available. High-value studio microphones, pre-amps RME and Grace, a digital console Yamaha 02R96, a Sequoia recording system and corresponding periphery form the core of the recording technology. Video recordings and live broadcasting with multiple cameras and  different editing systems are possible.

The Recording Studio is attached to the Konzertsaal and provides an extensive sound system for amplification, recordings or live electronics. Numerous permanently installed and mobile speakers from L'Acoustics and Meyer Sound are available. With a Dante audio network, complex audio control room configurations can be created and managed.

The mobile PA technology also includes a Meyer Sound 24.4 channel Klangdom as well as a Klangpavillon with 34 channels. The Kleine Aula offers a permanently installed PA system (Meyer Sound, Yamaha) and recording technology, and also Dante audio network. In the Hans Lenz Haus across the street, there is a small hall with a control room with Pro Tools, Auro 3D and Dolby Atmos 17-channel monitoring system, as well as a surround lab with 5.1 monitoring options.

Eine Hauptaufgabe des Tonstudios sind hochwertige Digitalaufnahmen als Produktion oder Konzertmitschnitt mit allen dazugehörigen Bearbeitungs- und Masteringmöglichkeiten. Mit dem Konzertsaal steht ein akustisch exzellenter Aufnahmeraum zur Verfügung. Hochwertige Studiomikrofone, Vorverstärker RME und Grace, eine Digitalkonsole Yamaha 02R96, ein Sequoia Aufnahmesystem sowie entsprechende Peripherie bilden den Kern der Aufnahmetechnik. Videoaufnahmen und Liveübertragungen sind mit mehreren Kameras und verschiedenen Schnittsystemen möglich.

Das Tonstudio ist an den Konzertsaal angegliedert und stellt für diesen eine umfangreiche Beschallungsanlage bereit für Verstärkungen, Einspielungen oder Live-Elektronik. Zahlreiche fest installierte sowie mobile Lautsprecher von L'Acoustics und Meyer Sound sind verfügbar. Mit einem Dante Audionetzwerk lassen sich komplexe Tonregiekonfigurationen erstellen und verwalten.

Zur mobilen Beschallungstechnik gehören weiterhin ein Meyer Sound 24.4-kanal Klangdom, sowie ein Klangpavillon mit 34 Kanälen. Die Kleine Aula bietet eine festinstallierte Beschallungsanlage (Meyer Sound, Yamaha) und Aufnahmetechnik, ebenfalls im Dante Audionetzwerk. Im gegenüber liegenden Hans-Lenz-Haus mit seinem kleinen Saal befindet sich eine Regie mit Pro Tools, Auro 3D und Dolby Atmos 17-kanal Abhöranlage, sowie ein Surround-Lab mit 5.1 Abhörmöglichkeit.
