Vita
Philipp Ahner (University of Music Trossingen) is Professor in Music Education and Music Didactics in Context of Digital Media at the “Landeszentrum MUSIK-DESIGN-PERFORMANCE” of the University of Music in Trossingen, Germany. He holds two degrees, both in Economy- and History-Education and in Music Education (2002, 2003), a PhD in Music Education (2011) and a teachers exam for Secondary School (2005). Until 2017 he was professor for music didactics at the University of Music Detmold, lecturer at the seminar for teacher training and didactics, as well as head of department and teacher for music, business and history at a vocational school center. His research focuses on music didactic research, sustainability and curriculum development.
