Vita

Born in 1958, was a pupil of Irmgard Priester in the youth class of the Trossingen Music Academy from 1971 to 1977. Subsequently studied school music and piano at the Freiburg im Breisgau Music Academy (Helmut Meyer-Eggen, Ramón Walter). Numerous master classes, among others with Tibor Hazay and Gyorgy Sebok.

1993 to 1997 doctoral studies at the University of Augsburg (music education, musicology, general education).

Teaching activities at grammar school and music school. Head of the music school Planegg-Krailling near Munich 1988 to 2004. Concert activity in Germany and abroad as pianist and choir director (among others chamber choir and large choir of the University of Augsburg).

Since 1998 lecturer at the University of Augsburg, Chair of Music Education.

Since 2000 lecturer for music pedagogy at the University of Music Trossingen.

Since 2003 Professor for music education at the University of Music and Theatre Munich.
