Elisabeth Fessler completed her studies to become a music teacher with a major in trumpet under Prof. Wolfgang Guggenberger. This study was enriched by the minor subject baroque trumpet with Prof. Patrick Henrichs. In addition, she completed a teaching post for secondary schools with a focus on jazz and popular music at the Trossingen State Academy of Music.
She received top marks for her degrees in all subjects.
Elisabeth Fessler gained orchestral experience in the 2012/13 season with the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra and in the 2013/14 season with the Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen. Since September 2014 she has been playing trumpet with Harmonic Brass. With the Brass Quintet she is on tour worldwide at more than 120 concerts a year and has already released several CDs with the ensemble as well as recording her own compositions.
As a guest lecturer she has already been active at several universities in the USA, Great Britain, South Africa and Germany.
Since 2018 she has been a trumpet teacher at the Trossingen State Academy of Music.
