Music and Movement
Interdisciplinary projects are a hallmark of the Trossingen University of Music, none more so than the Music and Movement department. Already in the bachelor program, students receive instruction in music, movement, speech, and scenic design. Then in the Masters program Rhythmics-Performance, the development and implementation of their own scenic-musical concepts for the stage and public spaces form the core area of the program.

Musik und Bewegung in Trossingen studieren und Kompetenzen erwerben für Lehrtätigkeiten an Musikschulen und Schulen, Aus- und Weiterbildung, musiktherapeutische und heilpädagogische Berufe, Bereiche wie Konzertpädagogik und Performances.
Ideal Career Opportunities
The extremely broad education in music and movement in Trossingen opens up an eclectic career field. Most alumni therefore combine various teaching activities at institutions and freelance stage projects, either staged with groups or presented themselves. Pedagogical and artistic work naturally intertwine, because it is not uncommon for longer work on content to lead to a design with a public performance.

Hauptfach
Musik und Bewegung:
Differenzierte Auseinandersetzung mit Klangwelten und Sounds in Musik und Bewegung, abseits tänzerischen und musikalischen Mainstreams, auf der Suche nach individuellen künstlerischen Ausdrucksformen für innovative Bühnen- und Unterrichtsgestaltungen
Instrument/Gesang
Der Bachelorstudiengang Musik und Bewegung wird mit einem Beifach Instrument oder Gesang studiert. Die Studierenden erhalten darin Einzelunterricht in Literaturspiel und in Improvisation. Instrument und Gesang werden jedoch auch in der Interaktion von Musik und Bewegung in künstlerisch-pädagogischen Kontexten von Partner- oder Gruppenarbeit eingesetzt.
Musik und Bewegung kann im Theorie-, Instrumental- und Gesangsunterricht auch mit der Ausrichtung Jazz/Pop studiert werden.
