Ria Rehfuß studied Dipl. and Master Rhythmics (Musikhochschule Trossingen) and Contemporary Dance (Outokumpu, Finland).
Since 2011 she is a freelance artist in the fields of dance (contemporary, dance theatre, expressive dance, improvisation, performance), juggling and music (piano, improvisation). She has been teaching dance training, movement improvisation/-research, applied anatomy and contact improvisation at the University of Music and Performing Arts Trossingen since 2010.
In addition to various cabaret engagements, street shows/fire shows, performances, (dance) company work (OFF SPACE / HeadFeetHands) and gigs, Ria has worked on projects with great personalities such as Mary Bauermeister, Angie Hiesl, Mark Coniglio and Jérôme Thomas.
With the company ARMO Jérôme Thomas she is still travelling all over France, also in cooperation with IRCAM, Paris.
