Patrick Henrichs is one of the most sought-after specialists for baroque trumpet, has a busy concert career as solo trumpet player of internationally renowned ensembles and teaches historical trumpet and trumpet methodology at the Trossingen State Academy of Music.
As a committed teacher he published "Die Barocktrompetenschule" in 2013, a systematic textbook for wind technique on the natural trumpet and the interpretation of baroque music.
Patrick Henrichs studied modern trumpet and baroque trumpet with Prof. Horst Dieter Bolz and Michael Laird in Trossingen and early music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
Numerous sound recordings, published by Harmonia Mundi, Deutsche Grammophon, Oehms Classics, Carus and others, as well as the CD and DVD series of the J. S. Bach Foundation St. Gallen document his artistic development.
