Emanuel Werres

Vita

Emanuel Werres studied music teaching with a major in rhythmics under Prof. Sabine Vliex, a Master of Music in Music & Movement Performance under Prof. Dr. Dierk Zaiser at the Trossingen University of Music and a Master of Arts in Cultural and Media Management at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama.

During his studies, he coordinated numerous art and cultural projects as project manager and overall coordinator. In addition to his own artistic productions, he worked as an actor, musician, presenter and technician at the “Kindertheater Patati Patata” in Reutlingen, among others, and toured internationally with several productions. Emanuel Werres then worked for two years as an assistant director at the Staatstheater Kassel in the opera department with directors such as Adriana Altaras, Markus Dietz, Dominique Mentha, Stephan Müller and Michael Schulz.

Emanuel Werres worked as a project manager at the Career Center of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg and supported students in the development of innovative concert formats. In 2020, he co-founded the Interactive Concerts, which aim to counteract social isolation in retirement homes.
