Andrea Elser studied flute at the State Academy of Music Trossingen.
She is a breathing teacher and breathing therapist according to Dr. Julius Parow, completed training in kinesiology and applied physiology as well as training as a non-medical practitioner at the Arcana Heilpraktikerfachschule Hamburg and has been working as a non-medical practitioner in her own practice since 1999.
Since 1988 Andrea Elser has been a lecturer at the Trossingen University of Music and Drama, and from 2000 to 2002 she held the same position at the Lübeck University of Music. She was invited to the Orchestra Academy of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival as a breathing teacher.
In 2005 she taught at the International Audition Academy at the Gasteig in Munich with members of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. She has given seminars at the music academies of Lübeck, Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt, Basel, Trossingen and others.
She is currently developing a new module at the Trossingen University of Music: "Energetic Communication for Musicians".
