Brass Instruments
and Percussion
Trumpet, french horn, trombone and percussion can be studied at the Trossingen University of Music. A tuba department is currently in the process of being established. Traditionally, chamber music is emphasized among the brass and percussion players - either within their respective instrument group or in interaction with each other. A sophisticated methodology concept supplements the lessons.
Positively Brass & Percussion
In order to expand and better network the internal and external activities of the brass and percussion department of the Trossingen University of Music both artistically and pedagogically, the Positively Brass & Percussion Institute was founded in 2018. A large symposium is held annually with masterclasses and workshops as well as a competition every two years.
