Part-time Master's Degree in Creative Arts Practice
Study across disciplines through interdisciplinary projects and engage in artistic collaboration: the part-time Master’s in Creative Arts offers you this opportunity. As you gain experience on stage, you’ll reflect on your work with faculty members and hone your skills.
Great careers begin with a decision:
Creative versatility is in demand
Do you have diverse interests and talents and would like to try out and network in addition to your main artistic subject? Creative Arts Practice (CAP) offers you the opportunity to study in an interdisciplinary manner and take advantage of the wide range of courses offered by our university. You can develop individually – both in one-to-one lessons and in cross-disciplinary projects where you interact with students and lecturers from other artistic fields.
Creative Arts Practice focuses on your personal artistic practice and the development of your artistic versatility. You will experiment and network across disciplines throughout the university and the MUSIK-DESIGN-PERFORMANCE state centre. Experiments are welcome and have scope in the individually tailored curriculum through
- options for both individual lessons and group events
- the development of independent artistic concepts
- learning and artistic work in mixed-discipline groups and ensembles
- teaching in the field of technologies in an artistic context
- your own focus in the profile
Creative Arts Practice opens up opportunities for you to
- develop your own artistic concepts and communicate them to others
- deepen an understanding of the use of artistic means, in particular technology in a creative context and in the field of directing/dramaturgy
- develop communication and reflection skills to effectively shape your own ideas and projects and network across disciplines both within and outside of university life

Design your studies according to your own interests
Creative Arts Practice can be studied with any instrument or voice. The focus is on developing your own artistic concepts.
