Bachelor of Music | Master of Education
Great careers begin with a decision:
Primary and secondary subject possible in Trossingen
Music is your passion? Whether on the piano, on the computer or in motion? Come to Trossingen now to study and become a secondary school teacher.
In Trossingen, you can study music, music teaching methodology and educational sciences. The secondary subject can be attended in cooperation with the universities in Konstanz or Tübingen. Alternatively, you have the option of studying jazz and popular music as a secondary subject in Trossingen and completing your entire degree in Trossingen. Jazz and popular music can also be chosen as an extension subject (third subject).
Teaching music is inherently diverse, covering a wide range of topics from artistic expertise to scientific research approaches, from early music to digital know-how. In addition to the classical main subjects, you can also choose music and movement, practical piano playing for schools or music production (producing) as your core artistic area.
The first eight semesters conclude with a polyvalent Bachelor of Music, which qualifies you both for the Master's programme in Secondary Education and opens up artistic perspectives. The four-semester Master's programme in Secondary Education (Master of Education), which is based on the Bachelor's programme, qualifies you for preparatory service (teaching internship).
